Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and your name • Profile information you provide: age, weight, height, fitness goal, equipment access, dietary restrictions and allergies • Health and fitness data you log: weight and body measurement history, progress photos (if you choose to add them), workout sessions and set-by-set performance (weight, reps), meal and workout completion history • Messages you send to the AI coach, its answers, and which AI model answered (with token counts) • Basic usage data needed to operate the app (e.g. subscription status)

How we use it

• To build and personalize your meal and workout plans with fixed rules and formulas (no AI model is involved in building plans) • To power the AI coach: to answer a question, it uses a short summary of your plan and activity (listed under “Who we share it with”) • To track your progress over time and show it back to you • We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising

Who we share it with

Your data is processed by the service providers that power the app's features, strictly to provide those features:

• Supabase (database and account hosting) • Anthropic (powers the AI coach, only when you send it a question). Sent with each question: the question text (up to 500 characters); your fitness goal and equipment setting (home, gym or both); the current weekday; the names of today's breakfast, lunch and dinner and your daily calorie target; your workout schedule for the week (which days are workouts or rest, and their focus); today's planned workout with its exercises, sets, reps, warm-up, cardio and cool-down; whether today's workout is completed; and how many workouts you completed in the last 7 days. Not sent: your name, email address, age, weight, height, sex, allergies, dietary restrictions, progress photos, weight history or payment details. Your full plans are built in our own systems • WorkoutX (provides exercise demonstration content) • Apple and/or Google (process subscription payments, where applicable — we do not receive or store your payment card details ourselves)

Your control over your data

• You can edit your profile information at any time in the app • You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account — this permanently removes your data from our systems • To ask a question about your data or this policy, contact: yourcoach.support@gmail.com

Children

YourCoach is not directed at children and is not intended for users under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
